Prof. Dr. Ayhan Kalyoncu graduated from Hacettepe University School of Medicine in 1984. After graduation, he performed his mandatory public service as a Physician in Karaman Community Health Care Center. Between 1986 and 1990, he carried out his residency in Psychiatry at Bakirkoy Training and Research Hospital for Psychiatry, Neurology and Neurosurgery. At the same hospital, he worked as an Attending Psychiatrist from 1990 to 1994 in Alcohol and Drug Research, Treatment and Training Center (AMATEM). Between 1993 and 2003, he worked as a Consulting Psychiatrist at V.K.V American Hospital. He and his 2 colleagues founded Anatolian Clinics within Balıklı Rum Hospital in 1994.
